Campus Community,
In accordance with guidance from the Iowa Department of Public Health, any non-essential classified member of the UNI community returning from Spring Break vacation or other travel outside of the state of Iowa is immediately directed to follow this guidance:
-
Stay home for 14 days after returning from travel outside of the state
-
Do not come to work during this two-week period
-
If you are unable to telework, speak with your supervisor about how to code this time off
In addition, if you live with someone who has symptoms of COVID-19 or has tested positive for COVID-19 you should stay at home for 14 days.
According to IDPH, COVID-19 is circulating in Iowa communities and many more Iowans are likely to become ill in the coming weeks. Following these recommendations will help to slow the spread of the coronavirus. The university is following this guidance to ensure the health and safety of our campus community.
See recommendations for self-isolation for more information about how to protect yourself and others.
