Forward Together Update

Dear Campus Community,

To plan and prepare for on-campus vaccinations, we're reminding you to fill out this important survey. The deadline to complete the survey is Friday, April 2, so please take 2 minutes to complete the form. As Black Hawk County Health Department allocates vaccines to UNI, we will keep you posted with news regarding availability and the parameters for distribution to our community.

And remember, even if you've already been vaccinated or are not interested in receiving the vaccine, it is still important to communicate that information so we can plan accordingly and secure an accurate number of doses from the county.

As we prepare a safe, in-person experience in our return to more normal operations this fall, we strongly encourage everyone to get vaccinated as soon as they are able. There are now three safe and highly effective vaccines available for all Iowans over the age of 16 starting April 5.

Let's continue to stay the course by wearing masks, remaining physically distanced, washing hands, filling out the PantherHealth Survey and getting tested if you have symptoms or have an exposure.

If you have a question, please visit forwardtogether.uni.edu or email it to forwardtogether@uni.edu. Thanks for all that you do to keep yourself, your family and the Panther community safe.

Stay Well,

John Vallentine,
Associate Provost for Faculty
